Say Cheese and Die
Hon’s band played their final gig on Sat night, they’re splitting up as we’re moving to Osaka. It was hot but awesome. We hired a 25 person room at K World for the ‘after party’, but I think we managed to fit 40 odd in at one point. It was great fun. You can download their album for free here. Photos thanks to Amelia

Thursday was my last day at SBS Online. We had a sweet lunch in Glebe and then on to karaoke, then Brighton Bar on Oxford st. It was sad to leave such a great work place, but I can’t help but be excited about moving to Japan.

Good Bye
This last weekend, I went back to my hometown to say goodbye to my family and my good friends. I was fine until the plane was flying off, then I lost it a little bit. Knowing I won’t see these people for maybe two years is hard, esp as I am of that age where my sisters and brothers are getting hitched, making babies, etc etc. On a brighter note, I did have an awesome party thrown for me!...

what will you miss about sydney? Part Two
1. CHEAP STEAKS, even when I moved to Melbourne a cheap steak was hard to find, but there was all the chicken parma you could handle. 2. I keep thinking of my fav Japanese eatery Daruima, but considering I am moving to Japan, I shouldn’t find it so difficult. 3. Understanding. I have been doing Japanese classes for around a month now, and I am really really bad! If my teacher speaks faster...
